Etiquette
A performance at the Kravis Center can be a truly unforgettable experience for all of our guests and for the performers. Below are tips that will help ensure everyone’s enjoyment.
Late seating
Please be advised that some shows require guests who arrive after the performance begins to wait in the lobby before entering the theater. Guest Services staff will advise you when you are able to enter the theater.
Silence is golden when it comes to cell phones
Please silence all cell phones and other electronic devices prior to the performance. Some devices can interfere with our sound system and electronic alerts of all kinds can be disrupting to other patrons as well as the performers. In addition, we ask that you refrain from texting during performances, as the glow from your device is distracting.
It’s not over ’til it’s over
Although it may be enticing to make an early departure in order to get to your car quickly, leaving the theater before the performance is over is noticed by everyone, including the performers on stage. We ask that you plan on remaining in your seat until encores and curtain calls have finished.
Disruptive or dangerous behavior
Any guest who poses a health or sanitary risk; disturbs other guests; causes damage to Kravis Center property or refuses to cooperate with Kravis Center staff when asked to follow operational policies will be asked to leave the venue.
Smoke-free environment
In compliance with the Florida Clean Indoor Air Act, Section 386.201 of Florida Statues, smoking inside the Kravis Center is prohibited. Smoking is only permitted outside of the building in various public areas.
