KRAVIS CENTER HOSTS RELATED ROSS AT SECOND CORPORATE PARTNERS LUNCHEON OF THE SEASON

CEO and Chairman Steven M. Ross and President Kenneth A. Himmel discuss the future of West Palm Beach

(West Palm Beach, Fla.) The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts held the second installment of its Corporate Partners Business Speaker Series luncheon on Wednesday, February 5, featuring Stephen M. Ross, CEO and Chairman of Related Ross, Founder of Related Companies, and Owner of the Miami Dolphins, in conversation with Kenneth A. Himmel, President of Related Ross and Kravis Center Board member. The event was held in the Kravis Center’s Gimelstob Ballroom in the Cohen Pavilion and was sponsored by NYU Langone Health. 

Related Ross is a leading real estate development firm known for its transformative urban projects that integrate residential, commercial and cultural spaces. Under the leadership of Mr. Ross, the company has spearheaded iconic developments such as Hudson Yards in New York City. Mr. Himmel has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s vision and driving innovation in mixed-use developments across the country. 

Nearly 200 Corporate Partners members, donors and guests attended the event which focused on Related Ross’ investment in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County. Corporate Partners Executive Committee Chair and Kravis Center Board member James Coleman welcomed guests and thanked the attending members and donors for their generous support before introducing Kravis Center CEO Diane Quinn.  

“Corporate Partners started as a way to bring the business community together, to network and share successes. It was also a way to support the Kravis Center and all the programming we offer to this growing community,” said Ms. Quinn. “Your support is an investment in the power of creativity, ensuring that audience members of all ages are nourished artistically, that our minds are expanded and that we provide an avenue to nurture young talent. I thank you for your support.”   

Ms. Quinn then invited Mr. Ross and Mr. Himmel to the stage.  

In addition to discussing the history of development in downtown West Palm Beach and Related Ross’ footprint in the community, the presenters also highlighted future plans for the area.  

“We’re all living here in Palm Beach County and recognizing how amazing the community is and how West Palm Beach has truly grown,” said Mr. Ross. “This should become the most important county in the country. Palm Beach County has the opportunity to grow, and the way we see it, West Palm Beach is the center of it. We’re very fortunate to live here because I think the quality of life is probably the best in the country.”
