2024-2025 Season

Miami City Ballet’s 39th season is a feast for the eyes, ears and mind. Leaning into the rich canon of work by Balanchine and the best choreographers of this century, these magnificent works are at the intersection of extraordinary dance, music, art and design.

The 2024/25 season brings a distinct mix of opulent ballets from our deep repertory, company premieres Chaconne by José Limón, and Pictures at an Exhibition by Alexei Ratmansky, as well as a world premiere by compelling choreographer Pam Tanowitz.

The entire season has been carefully curated by Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez to inspire, to engage and to delight audiences.

Born from founder Toby Lerner Ansin’s bold vision, our legacy embodies the spirit of being AUTHENTICALLY MIAMI, BOLDLY AMERICAN, pushing the boundaries of ballet while reflecting a city that has grown into a world-class hub of art, technology, and design. Join us this landmark anniversary season featuring daring new premieres from iconic American choreographers and artists like Jerome Robbins, Paul Taylor, Stephanie Martinez, Durante Verzola, George Gershwin, and Duke Ellington, alongside beloved classics like George Balanchine’s Apollo and the long-awaited return of Don Quixote.
