Job Description:
To supervise Front of House (FOH) personnel and coordinate all Front of House functions for the Kravis Center, as well as to provide administrative and/or staffing support to other departments throughout the Center.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinates all Front of House activities for performances and events.
- Assists in recruiting, training, and supervising volunteer ushers, ticket takers, and lobby customer service personnel (Guest Services Representatives).
- Prepares regular Front of House reports and maintains statistical data.
- Ensures guest comfort and safety while maintaining compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and best practices.
- Supervises concession sales in public spaces, including the collection and documentation of related funds.
- Enforces policies regarding camera and cell phone use in performance venues and oversees established intermission procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Two or more years’ experience in a multi-venue performing arts facility and/or in the hospitality industry at the management level.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- A positive and collaborative mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage events in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Teams).
- Maintain a professional appearance in both demeanor and attire.
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
