Front of House Event Manager – Full Time / Hourly

Job Description:

To supervise Front of House (FOH) personnel and coordinate all Front of House functions for the Kravis Center, as well as to provide administrative and/or staffing support to other departments throughout the Center.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all Front of House activities for performances and events.
  • Assists in recruiting, training, and supervising volunteer ushers, ticket takers, and lobby customer service personnel (Guest Services Representatives).
  • Prepares regular Front of House reports and maintains statistical data.
  • Ensures guest comfort and safety while maintaining compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and best practices.
  • Supervises concession sales in public spaces, including the collection and documentation of related funds.
  • Enforces policies regarding camera and cell phone use in performance venues and oversees established intermission procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Two or more years’ experience in a multi-venue performing arts facility and/or in the hospitality industry at the management level.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • A positive and collaborative mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage events in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Maintain a professional appearance in both demeanor and attire.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
