The installment encompasses 40-plus years, showcasing many of the dance world’s most celebrated artists and institutions — from intimate, behind-the-scenes moments to magnificent performance shots, to Last Bow — George Balanchine’s final curtain call with New York City Ballet, hailed as one of the most significant photographs in the history of the art form.
